Eduard 1:48 Messerschmitt Bf 110C

I had built two German WWII bombers prior to this kit and wanted to try mottling over the splinter camo of this plane. I tried an interesting mask tool to help with the mottling – I think I need some more practice with these templates.

I took a bit of artistic license with forward guns cowl color. I wanted to use the shark mouth decal in the kit but I couldn’t get a fit/finish that I liked – so I took it off and matched the yellow from the engines.

It worked for me…
