Kinetic 1:48 E-2C Hawkeye

I had this kit in my stash for almost two years. I thought for sure that all of this plastic would result in a tail sitter and that was the case. To compensate, I think I put about a ton of weight in the nose and behind the cockpit.

The clear plastic on the nose and the canopy was a challenge. The fit was a bit wonky and it took a bit of sanding and filling to get it “close.” In hindsight, of course, I thought I could have put some additional effort into some areas for better fit.

But I’m pretty pleased with the final result!!
