Minicraft 1:48 Piper Super Cub

In “About Springlake Systems”, I remembered the first kit that really got me interested in model building as a kid!

A Guillow balsa wood Piper Cub… each part pinned to a pine board… covered with tissue paper… and it was painted yellow!

I had to build this one…

It’s a old crap kit. Nothing fits. There was lots of cussing for building something this small. But it was a fast and fun project and made me smile a whole lot!
